NL100-10 Slurry sewage drainage pump Description

Slurry pumps and sewage pumps are two distinct types of pumps, primarily differing
in their application scenarios and structural design. Slurry pumps are mainly used
for slurry transportation and treatment in industrial production, while sewage
pumps are primarily employed for urban drainage and wastewater treatment.
The usage scenarios of slurry pumps and sewage pumps differ. Slurry pumps are
primarily used in industries such as mining, chemical processing, construction, and
metallurgy for slurry transportation and treatment. Slurry is a liquid containing a
high concentration of solid particles, and using ordinary water pumps for its
conveyance can easily lead to pump clogging or damage. Therefore, slurry pumps
feature specialized structural designs to effectively transport high-concentration,
high-viscosity slurries. In contrast, sewage pumps are mainly employed for urban
drainage and wastewater treatment. Urban sewage contains significant amounts of
organic matter and microorganisms, which, if not promptly discharged and treated,
pose substantial risks to the environment and human health. Sewage pumps can lift
wastewater from low-lying areas to higher elevations or transport it away from
urban zones for further processing and disposal.
2. The structural design of slurry pumps and sewage pumps also differs. Slurry
pumps typically adopt a centrifugal or plunger pump structure, which ensures high
efficiency and stability when transporting slurry. The impeller and pump body of
slurry pumps are made of special materials resistant to wear and corrosion in
slurry. In contrast, sewage pumps usually employ a centrifugal or submersible pump
structure, maintaining high efficiency and durability when handling sewage. The
impeller and pump body of sewage pumps are also constructed with special materials
to resist corrosion and clogging in sewage.
